On 9 and 10 June 2017 we will celebrate the 15 years anniversary for the Bachelor programme in European Studies at Maastricht University. The celebrations will include two days of debates, seminars, workshops, and much more. This will be a great opportunity to meet old friends and network with alumni, current students and BA ES staff.

On June 10th, Vienna-based author and journalist Caroline De Gruyter will provide a keynote presentation for the 15 year anniversary of the Bachelor European Studies of Maastricht University entitled “Future Perspectives for Europe”.

Ms De Gruyter is a European Affairs correspondent for the leading Dutch newspaper NRC Handelsblad and a regular contributor to Carnegie Europe. She was posted to Brussels twice and spent more than fifteen years covering Europe.

The event is open to the public and will take place on Saturday 10th of June from 11.00-13.00 in the large SBE aula, Tongersestraat 53 in Maastricht. Registration is not required.

Please register in advance at your earliest convenience. This is because of logistical considerations, including the need to secure the spaces for all parts of the event. Furthermore, registering in advance will enable us to reserve a ticket for you for the party. Tickets should be ordered and paid for in advance of the event. Tickets grant access, including lunch and refreshment during the day, as well as entrance to the party, plus two free drinks.
