My PhD thesis has focused on the relationship between the different types of parliamentary actors (MPs, administrators, committees) in national parliaments in the aftermath of the Lisbon Treaty. I have been part of the OPAL research project (). The thesis has been awarded a "PADEMIA Best PhD thesis" prize in July 2015. The results of my research have been published in West European Politics as well as in the Palgrave Handbook on national parliaments and the European Union. My current research interests relate to judicial reforms in the process of Balkan enlargement, political developments in the post-Soviet space and Eastern Partnership
I have been teaching at the Maastricht University since 2012, contribtuing to various BA courses in the ES study track as well as being involved in the suprvision of BA theses. I am very much looking forward to be involved in the supervision of MA theses in the 2015-2016 academic year. I have obtained my BKO portfolio at the Maastricht University
